Anat Shmariahu is the owner of ANAV DESIGN studio, graduated the Faculty of Architecture and Town Building in the Technion (B.Sc), the Israeli Institute of Technology, and a certified Architect in Israel.
In 2004, Anat established ANAV DESIGN studio in Cupertino, California. ANAV DESIGN studio is specialized in single family house design, building and interior, in a modernist and contemporary styles. Our house design is clean, using simple forms with attention to details. The timeless minimalist design on one hand is unique, and on the other, fits well in the neighborhood scale and forms. Our design is functional with a reason for every line or volume, plenty of natural light is crucial in our projects and it is customized to each client’s needs, location, wishes and budget.
Whether it’s a new house that you want to design, addition or remodeling, our design approach is holistic, to reach a complete house in harmony.
We also have lot of experience with Planning and Building departments across most of the Cities in Bay Area and know how to get your Permit approval ready quick.
Personal notes from Anat for the New Year 2022:
Last 2 years brought new set of challenges with significant impact on our lifestyle.
Stay-Home suddenly got a new meaning and many started to realize how important home environment became to be now.
We discovered new needs and expectations when we started to spend most of our time as home with the entire family. Now, home means also our offices, classrooms and gym, given the COVID forced our day to day routines to be done from home.
That said that our business became more thoughtful now of new set of needs in the home designs and adapt the new online procedures of Cities to process Permit Approvals.
Continuing to work with many wonderful clients across the Bay Area and seeing them happily living in their new homes was the best reward for my work. I am super proud that I was able to overcome the COVID limitation on our life and maintain this year the same high standards of home design and timeline for my clients.
I look forward to 2022 to see the world overcome COVID, and to me, I'd like to continue helping you with a design of your dream house to reach a harmony, and best fit to your lifestyle, needs and budget.
